The greater Lehigh Valley community came out to share in the Upper Macungie Township Lifestyle Community Center groundbreaking event held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Grange Park, the site of the 188,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility to be built by July 2026.

Host Laura McHugh, Vice Chair of Upper Macungie Township Community Fund, was joined by special speakers to mark the official start to the project:

• Jeff Fleischaker, Upper Macungie Township Board of Supervisors
• Laurie Hackett, Air Products, and Chair of Upper Macungie Township Community Fund
• Anne Baum, Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital
• Dave Jaindl, Jaindl Family of Companies
• Mike Butz, Butz Family of Companies
